Dressing fashionably doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice comfort — and as shopping writers, our job is to prove it.
Our PEOPLE Tested team spends countless hours trying onthe best jeans, bras, shoes, and more so that we can report back to you on which comfortable items are actually worth your money. And right now, some of our favorite apparel is on sale at Amazon.

The words “comfortable” and “jeans” might sound like antonyms, but believe us when we say that these Mid-Rise Boyfriend Jeans from Lee fit that description. Three people wore sizes varying from 2 to 20, and everyone agreed that the soft and stretchy cotton material felt great all day.
Even after a few cycles in the washing machine, the jeans still looked as good as new. For their durability and quality, we’d expect the jeans to cost a lot more than they do, even at full price, so snagging them while they’re on sale feels like a good value.

When rain hits, the last thing anyone wants is to be caught in the storm without a jacket. And, if you’re looking for a solid option to keep on hand, now is a great time to snag thebest rain jacket we’ve testedwhile it’s under $45.
The Columbia Switchback III kept us completely dry during our water spray tests, yet the breathable fabric allowed us to stay cool without overheating. It has a looser fit that doesn’t constrict movement — we could even do jumping jacks while wearing it. Plus, it packs into itself, making it easy to tuck in your bag.

An outfit is only as comfortable as its undergarments, and the Wacoal Comfort First Bra is thebest wireless bra we tested. The band feels soft yet strong, and it offers full coverage that’s shockingly supportive for a style without an underwire (though those with larger breasts might still prefer abra with an underwirefor extra support). The adjustable straps don’t dig into shoulders, and the soft memory foam cups make it extra comfy.

Tennis skirts are a comfortable alternative to athletic shorts, and this pleated Baleaf skort is a stylish choice. It features a waistband that provides light compression and the built-in shorts impressed us duringour skorts’ tests. A small zippered pocket in the back can hold credit cards and keys, and a side pocket in the shorts is great for tennis balls or a phone.

These versatile ballet flats werewearable right out of the box. We’ve tried plenty of comfortable shoes, and ballet flats will often rub against heals and cause blisters, but not these ones. The style is sophisticated and simple, which is great for the office or dinner. They come in 23 colors, including a trendy silver and a fun cheetah print that would spice up any outfit.
