Zac Brown Lists Georgia Lake House for $3.25M amid Divorce from Kelly Yazdi: 'Sad to Let It Go'

Zac Brownis parting ways with his Georgia home.

The 46-year-old musician, who is currently inthe process of divorcingestranged wifeKelly Yazdi, has listed his luxury lake house in Cumming, Ga. for $3.25 million.

According tothe property’s listing, the 9,448-square-foot house sits on a .81 acre lot that backs up to both Lake Lanier and a stunning wooded area. It also features seven bedrooms, four full bathrooms and a pool — which made it the perfect family home.

In a statement provided to PEOPLE, Brown, who shares five childrenwith ex-wife Shelly, said that the Cumming property “has been an incredible home for me and my family.”

As far as location goes — the home is located about 40 miles from Atlanta — Brown said he particularly enjoyed “being close to” the capital city, but still “private and a world away.”

The Zac Brown Band frontman added that he is “sad to let it go, but excited for some new memories to fill up the place.”

“It served me and my family well, so I know the next one will really enjoy it,” he finished.

In a statement of her own, Katie McGuirk, who holds the listing, tells PEOPLE, “With beautiful views, a long list of amenities, a light-filled open floor plan and everything Lake Lanier has to offer, this home will make a fantastic primary home or a lakeside retreat.”

“The surrounding scenery is truly gorgeous in all seasons, and it’s an easy drive from downtown Atlanta,” McGuirk added.

Located in a private, gated neighborhood, the luxury property’s amenities also include a large kitchen, oversized primary suite and a “fireside breakfast room flowing to a screened porch with lake views,” per the listing.

The spacious, open-concept kitchen — which overlooks both the living room and breakfast room — features quartz countertops, Wolf and SubZero appliances, a large island and walk-in pantry, and both dual sinks and dishwashers.

The primary suite, meanwhile, boasts a fireplace, custom walk-in closets and the property’s signature vaulted ceilings.

The estate’s other amenities include a detached boat house, a heated infinity pool and spa, and a decked-out cedar dock.

The “Chicken Fried” musician selling his Georgia home comes about eight months after he and  Yazdi, 33, announced their separation in December 2023 after four months of marriage.

The former couple announced their divorce in a joint statement. “We are in the process of divorce,” they toldTMZat the time. “Our mutual respect for one another remains. We wish each other the best and will always appreciate our time together. As we navigate this personal matter, we simply request privacy during this time.”

More recently, Brownfiled for a temporary restraining order against Yazdiafter she published a number of Instagram posts — including one seemingly accusing him of “narcissistic abuse” — in May.
