In a videoshared on Thursday, Oct. 17, theScrubsstar, 49, revealed that some of the artists featured on theGarden Statesoundtrack are teaming up for a one-night-only benefit concert to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
“It’s been 20 years since my filmGarden Statecame out, and I never could have imagined that the film and the soundtrack would still be resonating with people two decades later,” Braff began in the clip. “So we had an idea: what if we got together the brilliant musicians live on stage for the first time ever to raise money for a great cause?”

Artists including The Shins, Iron & Wine, Frou Frou, Colin Hay, Thievery Corporation, Remy Zero, Cary Brothers, Bonnie Somerville, Sophie Barker from Zero 7 and more who will be announced at a later time will perform at The Greek Theatre on March 29, 2025.
According to a press release, the concert will feature live performances of each track from theGarden Statesoundtrack, and there will be special guest appearances — including cast members. Attendees will also be able to purchase exclusive, limited-edition merchandise from Aviator Nation.
The event will benefitThe Midnight Mission, a Los Angeles-based homeless shelter and services provider where Braff has been a longtime volunteer.
“We have a very special night planned with many more surprises to come,” said Braff in a statement. “It will be extra special knowing we are giving back to the community via the Midnight Mission.”
Cary Brothers, who performed “Blue Eyes” on the soundtrack, introduced theFrench Girlactor to the Midnight Mission, and came up with the idea to mark the anniversary with a concert and donate the proceeds to the mission.

Tickets will be available for the concert beginning Friday, Oct. 18 at 9 a.m. PT and will be available through the Greek Theatre websitehere.
Released in 2004,Garden Statewas Braff’s directorial debut which became a generational classic for viewers who saw themselves in the angst-ridden characters reconciling their pasts and futures against a New Jersey setting.
In 2005, the soundtrack for the film earned a Grammy Award for best compilation soundtrack for visual media. It has sold over 1.3 million copies.
