Deb Peifer, who previously dated country starZach Bryan, is raising eyebrows with her latestTikTok
Peifer uploaded a cryptic video after Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia opened up about her own breakup with the musician — alleging he had been emotionally abusive — on theBFFs podcastreleased on Thursday, Nov. 7.
The clip featured a happy Peifer pouring a glass of Josh Wine, sipping her beverage while smiling and dancing to Taylor Swift’s “Clean.” She simply captioned the post, “wine thursday w my roommate,” and tagged her friend MK along with a yellow heart emoji.
While Peifer, 26, didn’t verbally say anything in the video, nor explain the meaning of the post in her caption, fans are theorizing in the comment section that the video is a subtle nod to her past relationship with Bryan, 29, and connection to LaPaglia’s podcast tell all.

“Josh wine. T Swift lyrics (Dave stans for). The song choice. The wine. The smile. But maybe it’s all coincidental. Love this for her though 🥰, " wrote one user. “….posted exactly at 8pm,” wrote another (which is when theBFFs Podcastepisode was released).
The meaning of Swift’s song “Clean” is generally about closure, which fans are assuming is what Peifer is hinting at amid the podcast release. Bryan and Peiferbroke up in May 2023, after first being linked the previous year.
Furthermore, fans are associating the Josh Wine with Josh Richards, who cohosts theBFFs Podcastwith Barstool’s Dave Portnoy. The wine brand itself has become the center of aninternet memethat went viral at the beginning of the year.
The “Dawns” singer announced his relationship with Peifer had ended on X (formerly Twitter), claiming he wanted to share the news “for transparency and with respect.” He wrote at the time, “Things are mutual between us, we’re leaving with plenty [of] memories and good times.”

The breakup between Bryan and LaPaglia, 25, meanwhile, came to light in October when the country star announced on social media that they had split after making theirrelationship publicin July 2023.
In an Instagram Stories post shared, Bryan wrote, “Addressing something: Brianna and me have broken up with [each other] and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart. She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that I’ll always thank her.”
Soon after Bryan uploaded his post, LaPaglia responded on her own Instagram Stories, noting she was feeling “blindsided.” ThePlan Bri UnCutpodcasterelaborated on the feelingin a briefYouTubevideo.
On Nov. 7, LaPaglia appeared on Portnoy and Richards’BFFs Podcastto further elaborate on her past relationship with Bryan andexpose shocking detailsabout their breakup, like accusing the singer of emotional abuse.

Reps for LaPaglia and Bryan did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
“The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life dealing with the abuse from this dude,” LaPaglia said, referring to Bryan. “I’m still scared right now because I’m scared of him,” she continued. “My brain’s rewired and I’m scared to make him mad and last week, I didn’t want to talk about it ‘cause I was scared.”
LaPaglia also claimed that the women who were previously in relationships with Bryan were made to sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) to keep them from publicly talking about their own experiences with him. She alleged to have been offered $12 million along with a New York apartment to “not talk about the relationship.”
Although Peifer hasn’t yet spoken out in the wake of LaPaglia’s claims on theBFFs Podcast, sheopened up in Octoberafter thePlan Bri UnCutpodcaster’s split from the country singer was confirmed.

“But I just want to be clear on the fact that I don’t find any gratification in other people hurting. Specifically other women hurting,” she continued, “I think that emotions are so nuanced and so complicated, but I don’t feel better because other people are hurting in any capacity.”
She concluded, “I don’t think you should either, but that’s your journey.”
