Zoë Kravitzknows as much aboutBig Little Liesseason 3as fans do.

TheBlink Twicedirector, who stars as Bonnie Carlson inBig Little Lies, tells PEOPLE she’s been waiting — “like everybody else” — to learn what’s in store for her character in the HBO drama series, which costarNicole Kidman seemingly confirmedin 2023 is eventually returning for another season.

For now, Kravitz is busy promoting the psychological thrillerBlink Twice, her directorial debut, starring fiancéChanning Tatum,Naomi Ackie,Simon Rex,Haley Joel OsmentandGeena Davis, among others.

HerBig Little LiescostarsLaura DernandReese Witherspooncame out to support her at theBlink Twicepremiere in Los Angeles on Aug. 8.

“They’re so cool,” Kravitz says of Dern, 57, and Witherspoon, 48.

“Everybody’s busy and working, and they have families, and all of that, and so I think … they don’t just talk the talk,” Kravitz continues. “They really show up like that, both publicly and privately.

And while she’s “not surprised” that Dern and Witherspoon attended theBlink Twicepremiere to support her and the cast, she says it’s “still just so cool that they came.”

“Good question. I think Bonnie’s divorced — that’s good for her,” she says.

InBlink Twice, which Kravitz also co-wrote, Tatum, 44, stars as Slater King, a tech billionaire who’s trying to repair his image after being accused of wrongdoing. Ackie, 31, plays Frida, a struggling waitress who meets Slater at a black tie event while pretending to be a guest.

While making the film in 2022, Kravitz and Tatum fell in love. Kravitz is hopeful she and Tatum cancollaborate on another projectin the future: “I hope so,” she says.

“Art is our love language,” she explains. “I think it’s what we love, and we love talking about it, and experiencing it, and supporting each other.”
